My Story
My work is driven by a fundamental commitment: bridging the gap between complex institutions and the people they are built to serve.
Grounding Research in Reality: While my methodology was built on rigorous research at Loughborough University London, my practice was forged in the field. Collaborating with families navigating Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) systems taught me that the most significant barriers are often invisible and that expertise is most powerful when it is surfaced from the margins.
Streamlining the Organisational Matrix: I move beyond the interface to solve the "mess" at its source. By untangling complex organisational matrices and breaking down institutional silos, I align internal capabilities with external human needs. I don't just design for the user; I design the internal systems that make seamless delivery possible.
Delivering Just and Resilient Systems: Today, I tackle high-stakes challenges in healthcare and public policy by integrating participatory research with systems thinking. My goal is to move organisations from surface-level fixes to root-cause solutions—designing service ecosystems that are operationally efficient, evidence-led, and inherently just.
